“Gratitude for an year gone by

Thanking an year in anticipation

2020 gave me light as a seeker…

It’s going to get magnanimous with 2021!

The lock down year ushered pertinent lessons 

Reassessing the priorities, counting the blessings!

Good riddance 2020

A year nobody will miss

Bidding adieu to nature’s malediction 

The miseries of the COVID abyss,

The pause taught me judicious takeaways 

Clairvoyance is the key, not just a look in the yonder 

Reconfiguring, re-evaluating relationships and 

Things which are worth a Ponder!

I became a published author, harnessing the spirit of writing 

learning, absorbing, reflecting, enticing!

Blogging, poetry became a mainstay inspiration 

I’m planning to reap abundance in the upcoming 2021!

Drum rolls, neon lights flash, holler 

Like the world, I wait with ecstasy and allure for the brand new timing 

When credence will overpower diffidence 

Rekindling effervescence, synergetic spirits chiming!

I want to have the success stride at work and play alike 

Dismissing vagaries, Garnering hope

A win win, A wannabe, I have ignited plans, up my sleeve 

2021 is going to be about resilience and belief!

The idiosyncrasies of past year

couldn’t, dwindle the flames of Hope

My dalliance with sunshine continues

to reiterate with life and love.

Agreed that this virus maliciousness ,

Isn’t easy to deal with 

But whence has life succumbed 

Vis a vis tenacity and grim persistence!

The world will relaunch soon 

With raving grandeur, and elite enchantment

Paris, New York, New Delhi, London 

Will bask in their acclaimed aura!!
