It moved- Rift# Writephoto

I’ve Used the image above as inspiration to create a post – a Haiku on my blog!

Here it goes:-

I climbed the stones and,

saw the strange rift between giant rocks,

And then it’s eyelids moved.”

This is written in response to Sue Vincent’s Thursday photo prompt : Rift#writephoto

What is Haiku poetry:-

There are various forms of Haiku poetry. I am only going to discuss the style used here, which is “How to write a Haiku Poem in English Form.”

Four things to remember:

  • You have three lines of poetry.
  • 17 total syllables, some say sounds, in the 5/7/5 pattern.
  • You normally tell two opposite images in the poem.
  • Lines one and two should read as a complete sentence and lines two and three should read as a complete sentence.

Thanks for reading!!

I write whenever ideas crunch and overwhelme me! It's my reaction outpour.
